May Foodie Highlights

With May brought many totally fabaaaalus foodie moments.

These were my best bits:

Model Market, Lewisham
Sometimes you just can't beat steak and chips. Up In My Grill wins at bringing it to Model Market in Lewisham. TIP: Opt for the spicy sauce, it's bloody lovely.

Lola's Cupcakes
I ate ALOT of cake in May. The highlight? A Lola's peanut butter and jam one.

Leicester Square Kitchen, Leicester Square
Think Mexican and Peruvian small plates with all the guac and the best cocktails.

Tanner & Co, Bermondsey
Where all brunch dreams come true. Especially ones that include potato hash with bacon.

Steak & Lobster, Warren Street
I will say one thing: Unlimited fries and salad.

Pedler. Peckham
Because there is no better place for a boozy brunch. Make mine a gin and juice.

Pergola, Paddington
If you thought Pergola on the roof was cool, you will lose your shit over this one in Paddington.

Farm Girl, Notting Hill
Possibly one of the most instagramable brunch spots in London? I can see why.

Frank's Cafe, Peckham
After a long wait, he's finally back. Enjoy a jug of Pimm's and the best view ever.

Courtyard at Kings Cross
There is nowhere I would rather be on a bank holiday weekend than at a Welsh beer festival, the best bit? Grazing Shed were there, bloody hell I've missed them!

Duck & Waffle
Any where that let's you sip on gin and eat brunch at 2am looking over London is a winner in my eyes.

My June is looking like a very busy one with lots of cocktails and brunch to be had, and I can't bloody wait!

Pizza Making Party at Pizza Express

When the invite mentions pizza & prosecco it really is a no-brainer.

Pizza Express has opened up a swanky new restaurant near Gloucester Road station in South Kensington, RIGHT next door to my office.

The task: drink prosecco, eat dough balls, make pizza, eat pizza and hang with a bunch of fabulous ladies.

We were there to try out the pizza making party, usually for kiddies - a whole lot of fun for adults. The dough is made up for you already, so no waiting around for it to rise. Then they teach you how to roll it, throw it in the air (if you dare) and make the perfect base to cover with your fave toppings.

I went for tomato, red onion, mushrooms, chorizo, spicy sausage, jalapenos, a LOT of cheese and finished with an egg. Brunch style.

They popped them in the oven for us and led us to a table with prosecco and dough balls aplenty.

Then all that's left to do is tuck in to your creation. We laughed, ate, drank and had a wonderful time, and if you're competitive they hand out a couple of awards. Best pizza and biggest tosser being a few of them ;)

Birthdays, hen parties, team building, whatever the occasion it's great fun!
