November Foodie Highlights

I felt like November was the start of the downward spiral into holiday obesity. Best time of the year in my eyes.

Here's my foodie highlights from last month:

Mac & wild
Giles Coren said it was the best restaurant in the world and he wasn't lying. The veni-moo was one of the nicest burgers I've had in a while.

London Cocktail Club
A cocktail that comes with an accessory will always be a good cocktail.

Can't see the haters when I'm wearing my superstar glasses.
Monmouth Kitchen in Covent Garden
I will say one thing. Teeny tacos. If you're all about the small plates and tapas style of eating, this is the place to go. It's a mix up of Italian and Peruvian dishes that work perfectly together. I recommend the tacos, calamari and cafe almendra dessert.

Granger & Co
Me and Fi ventured to Notting Hill and queued in the freezing cold to go here. They forgot about our order but the staff were amazing and sorted it all out very quickly. I opted for the most delicious dish with courgette fritters, grains and salad.

Primrose Bakery in Notting Hill
Because no lunch date is complete without sweet goods for dessert. It will always be the chocolate brownie.

I ate my body weight in bread when I visited Germany and you can read all about it here

Voodoo Rays in Shoreditch
Pizza by the slice. Yes please. I could happily eat a whole pizza but then I usually regret it when I can't do my jeans back up, so this place is a dream. You get big fat slices that are perfect if you're just a little hungry. I went for the shrooms one and it was delightful.

Bread Ahead in Covent Garden.
Just. Look. At. These.

I felt all giddy when I went here, that happens when I'm around cake. The donuts looked incredible but I'm a brownie girl, so I went for the brownie bites with whole nuts. I had them fresh from the fridge and they were the best thing ever.

Locke & Remedy in Cardiff
Being back in my favourite city means a visit to one of my favourite places. I love that they do half pizza and half salad. Cardiff, I miss you!!!

Brava in Cardiff
Because there is no better hangover cure after an evening on Mill Lane.

Pergola on the Roof in Shepherds Bush

Roof top bars are becoming my new favourite things. I loved it here! Toasty, good music and a cracking selection of pop up, foodie stalls. I finally got to try Patty & Bun. I don't think I came up for air, I just inhaled the whole thing.

The festivities have officially started and I am SO ready for the season of mince pies, mulled wine and chocolate everything.
