October brought many foodie delights and here are some of my faves:
Walking the length of King's Road and having coffee and cake for breakfast from Nell's - like a said, getting that winter bod ready...
Burger's at The Natural Kitchen near Baker Street. Although the service wasn't great, the veggie burger certainly was.
I had a fleeting work visit to Manchester, it was my first time there and although I almost froze to death, I managed to stumble across the Manchester Food Festival on the way home which made me a very happy piggy indeed. I had a Halloumi and grilled veg toastie from these lovely guys.
Peckham Brunching - read about it here.
Like every month, I consumed alot of coffee. This month's best ones were Holborn Grind and Rapha in Spitalfields - those cyclists know how to do good coffee.
Discovering Bailey's Pumpkin Spice and making scrumptious, boozy, hot chocolates. Recipe here.
Having the best fish and chips in London from The Fish Co in Leicester Square. A Fry-day feast at it's finest.
Trying Bao in Soho for the first, and definitely not last, time. Read about it here.
Heading to the Kensington Farmer's Market and eating alotalot of pasta - still managed to fit some brownie in too because what's savory without a bit of sweet?
Making the most amazing red Thai curry with a wonderful selection from the Wing Yip store - See the recipe here.
So as I roll into November, pray for my waistline. The festive season is practically here which means there's a lot of Quality Street and mince pies to be had, and I can't say no.
