Someone once said that the warm weather can make you lose your appetite - who dis?
Here's my best foodie bits of August:
All of the coffee - slowly but surely I'm drinking my way (coffee and gin) through my home/work areas. This months best coffee finds are Ravello in Millbank and Iris and June in Victoria, my bank statement says so too.
Discovering Nine Yards, a prosecco bar, in Cardiff which means it's perfectly acceptable to drink it at 10am in the morning.
Having lots of lovely meals cooked by my Peckham parents - Soph & Bex. Who said vegan food was boring?
Putting on 10 stone in 3 hours at Kerb Camden - read about it here.
A Tanqueray brunch featuring gin, obviously, and lots of delicious green things - also read about this here.
Having dinner the park post work - summer, please don't goooo!!!!!
Face planting a pizza at Udderbelly on South Bank - they were about to close but kindly made me a pizza because I probably cried and told them I was dying of starvation (I definitely was...) Dough Bro are the boyz.
Having my German/welshie to come stay and drinking our way through Peckham. A man even wrote us a poem about the things that matter in life - gin.
Trying Slow Richie's at Brick Brewery. I've never needed a burger as much as this night and it was everything I wanted and more. The guys that own it are fab too!
A visit to Shoreditch resulting in a visit to Dinerama and moving on to glasses of wine and very loud Caribbean music at Box Park - best way to banish a hangover...

So I spent the majority of my month full and drunk and it's been brilliant - welcome to London!
