So Breakfast Week starts today (best week of the year in my eyes...) making it the perfect time to share my oaty creations with you.

My long time favourite oats brand, Flahavan's, is encouraging the nation to say 'no' to boring breakfasts with it's 'Better your Breakfast' campaign and I just had to get involved.

They have recently launched their new range of multi-seed oats offering a superfood twist on the breakfast classic.

Here's what I've been doing with mine:

Healthy banana bread. I make mine with oats and it's the best form of squidgey energy ever. You can find my recipe here. It's perfect with a cup of coffee pre/post gym.



Smoothies. My favourite is oats, frozen berries, milk and ground blueberry chia powder - Simple, filling and nutritious.

But for me nothing can beat a hearty bowl of oats. This is what I am currently obsessing over:

Flahavan's Multiseed Oats, Meridian peanut butter, Lindt 85% Dark Chocolate, chopped banana and cinnamon.




Flahavan's Multiseed Oats, honey, greek yogurt mixed with chia seeds and blueberries.



Flahavan's Multiseed Oats, Meridian peanut butter, Willies Cacao dark chocolate drops and dried banana chips.



Breakfast is most definitely my favourite meal of the day and I could never skip it. My top tip is preparation. I fill my yumbox up on a Sunday night with my toppings for the week, so I can roll out of bed and straight into making breakfast.
