I love the Brizzle

Ok, so I might have fallen a bit in love with Bristol. This is quite easy when there are brownies and burgers involved...

A perfect day for me is made up of gin, delicious food, sun and my favourite people, and when the words GIN O'CLOCK is mentioned, it couldn't get any better.

As we had a birthday in the house, a breakfast of cake and carby treats was mandatory, this was just the starter before the best bit...

Eat, Drink, Bristol, Fashion is a pop event, full to the brim with the west's finest traders. It was set in Queens Square, which was transformed into a tipi village, you could expect live music, a bar with beer and gin galore and delicious food, all as sustainable as ever.

I went for the sweet potato flatbread from Moorish, which was all my dreams in one doughy wrap. I also had MAJOR dish envy.

I washed it down with Hendrick's gin and finished with the worlds sexiest brownie.

My current and lifelong obsession is peanut butter, so this was an absolute must for me. It was everything that a brownie should be - fresh, gooey and nutty, and I am determined to find Dark Matters again because there was a pistachio one which had my name on it.

So if we hadn't eaten and drunk enough, a birthday means celebration, and what better way to celebrate than with prosecco and a burger?

Now I think that the sides that come with a burger are pretty important and these ones were the best yet, the chips come with pulled pork and cheese, melted all over the top and you have a sweetcorn fritter which was to die for. This was at The Bristologist, which had an impressive, experimental cocktail menu too. It is definitely one to try.

It was a fabulous evening made even better by these fabulous people.

And I tell you what else is fabulous - The Stock Exchange Bakery. As you can probably tell from my instagram feed/ lunchbox/ general life, is that avocado's is a staple part of my jadybrunch diet, so give me some thick cut sourdough bread, smashed avocado and poached eggs with coffee and I am the happiest egg of the bunch. This place was dreamy and I am definetly heading back on my next vist to Bristol.

Can it be cinnamon swirl Sunday everyday?

xxx
