So after my last all nighter I swore to myself that I would never let that happen again...and there I was 3am last night face stuck to the desk in the library looking (and feeling) like the hunchback of notre dame. Apart from that this has been way up there with one of the best weeks of my life. There has been tears of panic and pride and now it is all over and I am feeling quite like a lost puppy.

The fashion show was wednesday and it was one of the best nights ever. There is nothing that can top seeing all your hard work being payed off and people getting to see what you do.

Seven nation army will never be the same again.

We entered Aladdins cave today when shooting... I almost lost my eyesight there was so much bling, but i did gain a ring and had my eye on so many other sparklers.

We also shot some more of the gym bunnies - whipping their hair back and forth willow smith style.

Then the evening consisted of portfolio and tea club with a brief interruption of funny cats (definitely my most popular search) I was devastated to find there were no new ones since yesterday...but i was very excited to see my studio shoot photos come through which i absolutey loved. Trying to pick a few for my portfolio is killing me! I have picked this for my front cover.

Today we were back in the studio shooting Riddell's collection. Nineties inspired gymwear - bum bags and all. I was having a whale of a time dust rolling my own clothes, bopping to duke dumont and stuffing my face with skittles:)

But we had some very good models and a cracking photographer which always makes it a lot easier! So again another successful day!
Scrunchies, Logo T-shirts and more skittles for tomorrow please Fiddle:)

Behind the scenes

Today I was extremely lucky and got to shoot my collection with the most wonderful models and photographers. It was so surreal seeing my collection finished and on people. I am comparing it to a mother who takes her baby for thier first photoshoot to display on the mantle piece...This has become my baby over the last few weeks and it made me feel very proud. Here are some behind the scenes shots from today. I am beyond excited to see the finished results!!

And of course the day wouldn't be complete without a professional dust roller - In the words of chamillionaire "They see me rollinn, they hatinn"

A very successful day:)

Less than two weeks until hand in..

This is my spiral seam dress, This was from my original lineup which was quite awful and this was the only successful one which made it through all the designing process. So it could be said this is what built my collection. It is just a very simple asymmetrical dress that i draped on the body until I liked the way it fell. It is in bamboo so it feels heavy and has a nice drop to it.

and this is my hoody dress. It is one of my favorites  This came from the idea of having a constant loop. It was originally one long pattern piece from the hood to the neck piece with a hole to put your legs through, so it was looking at the dimensions and limiting myself to using one hole throughout the garment.

Fashions Future.

I have been checking out Thread Magazine, a new online magazine with inspiration taken from today's blog culture. It is definitely worth a look! There are a couple of us third year fashion bee's talking about the future of fashion which is interesting with everyone's thoughts being quite different. Take a look http://www.thread-magazine.co.uk/

So the welly shoes proved to be a nightmare. In refusing to dry and making sure they stuck to everything they could - plastic bags/Clumps of hair/strands of thread...I chose to dump them. The shoe status was single and i was in a mad panic trying to find another to replace the bad ex(shoe).

The sartorialist saved the day! I cant help but to lust over grey dresses with a sturdy flat shoe like a trainer or boot - gets me everytime.

So I started looking at AllStars

But EVERYONE wears converse i hear you cry...EXACTLY! I love that they are so versatile and not just for one type of person/style. So in saying this I have challenged myself to some Ebay bidding (Im terrible and don't get the rules, hence loosing out to the best pair by 8p) But I am learning. I have gone for the completely white leather ones. They are a glorious example of a sophisticated...ish sneaker.

2 Down!....4 to go.

So with these shoes taking their place in my collection I couldn't help but think it added a touch of american highschool to the whole thing - along with the jerseys and sportswear finishes.
So i experimented with my bags by adding a cheeky number 3 in there - Not a fan, it made it look a little gimmicky which the collection isn't about.

Worth a try

I have found these lovely big clips to fasten my bags with. It is like a weird combination of art class/police detective bag BUT I LIKE IT.

Weekend Studio

Being in uni 7 days a week can sound horrific (our social lives will suffer) but there are a few pluses...Apart from getting work done, on a Saturday it is only right to treat myself to a delicious brekkie from provadore on the way (the best in falmouth) This, and having an extra hour in bed on the weekend is the highlight of my week...I LOVE SLEEP..and breakfast! Another plus is being blinged up my prince prits. There is no such thing as too many jewels:)

Also studying in Cornwall makes us very lucky that we can leave the studio and walk 5 minutes to this,  quite the stress reliever. (and quite tempting whenever we experience a peep of sunshine...)

The Virgo in me is loving this time of my life - writing lists everyday and then feeling all smug when I get to cross something off. (It is actually one of the most satisfying feelings ever.)

Today was accessories day. Fiddell the stylist banged them out in a couple of seconds for me- A Threads container and a usb lead -SO EDGY and really fitting in with the times and technology...

This was an actual bag i made today. I was browsing pinterest when i came across a little boys lunch in a little brown paper bag with a peg on it - so cute and it was love at first sight. I like the idea of having a see through bag - nothing to hide here ladz. I want some really big ones which you can tuck under the arm (Its a soft plastic so no bag cuts) and some smaller ones with either a white peg on it or a chunky bulldog clip.

All this organisation and hard work must have its rewards every now and then...so a glass of wine on a sunny evening is allowed...:)

1st May - When/How did this happen? 2013 buddy you need to slowww downnn!

So on the weekend I attempted a shoe spraying session. These glorious welly shoes were given a glamorous makeover and are now black. I like them and its a huge plus that they are super duper comfy - sprinting and backflipping down the catwalk in these
